About the team

The sales development team powers the top of the funnel for Two Dot, that is, we engage new businesses that fit our ideal customer profile (ICP). We are a highly competitive and financially driven team that seeks to engage with a relatively small group of high-value customers as opposed to a typical spray-and-pray approach. We work closely with the marketing team to do this by leveraging targeted content, campaigns, and messaging refined by our marketing lead and founder.

About the role

In this pure “find and connect” sales role, you will connect with businesses that can benefit from our platform but have not yet discovered it. You will be the first point of contact, prioritising contact with the highest value leads. Your goal is to create as many introductions as possible between our sales team and other businesses that fit our ICP.

This is a highly competitive role. You will earn commission for each lead that you bring in that matches our ICP and will be in competition with two other BDRs for the most qualified leads. First place will receive an additional financial bonus on top of their commission.

This role is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to start and grow a career in sales. We are committed to your development provided that you are successful in your role, with a structured path to becoming an Account Executive within 18-24 months and equity in Two Dot.

We're looking for people who have

  • An understanding of the various approaches that marketing and sales use to generate new business, the current AI and tech landscape, our product, and the problems it solves for our customers.

This role is based in London, UK. We use a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week and don't currently offer relocation assistance to new employees.

In this role, you will:
  • Find and research sales leads, identifying if they would be a good fit for our product.
  • Contact senior stakeholders at these companies, handing them off to our sales team when engaged.
  • Send thorough and helpful follow - ups to all customers, including those that aren't necessarily a fit yet.
  • Track market and industry trends to spot opportunities to engage with a additional businesses.
  • Stay up to date with internal product developments.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales leadership to develop, test, and refine messaging and outreach strategies.
  • Support the marketing team in demand generation and outbound initiatives.
  • Document playbooks for future hires.
  • Build future - automated GTM workflows.
Although not strictly required, you might thrive in this role if you:
  • A Bachelor's degree in business, communications or a related industry.
  • 1 - 3 years' experience in any sales industry department, including recruitment or call centres.
  • Have fantastic communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in a simple way.
  • Exceptional time management and organisation skill.
  • Ability to work well under time pressure.
  • Competitive nature.
  • A strong interest in tech, AI, and its application in the business world.

Compensation

£45K + up to £100K in commission-based bonuses + additional performance bonus.
