Who are Two Dot

Two Dot is a London-based software development company focused on innovating upon how B2B businesses market and sell their products & services.

We began by tackling a significant problem faced by recruitment marketers: they couldn't see which marketing efforts were impacting their sales pipeline. This meant that they couldn't prove marketing-attributed revenue for anything other than tracing a lead from their website. Our software was able to connect all of marketing's efforts related to a specific client, including the sales collateral used by their recruiters. This enabled them to see what worked and what didn't – uncovering a blind spot - so that they could iterate and improve upon their work, and prove their ROI to senior stakeholders.

Building on these foundations, we extended our platform to not just reveal data, but to turn it into meaningful insights. By analysing results at scale, we enabled our users to make targeted improvements and drive more effective marketing strategies.

Now, we are advancing to the next frontier to enable hyperpersonalisation at scale. By leveraging attribution data and learning from the behaviour of both our customers, and our customers' customers, we are building advanced machine learning models capable of tailoring the entire sales journey to an individual, from first impression, into first sale, then onwards into upselling and cross-selling. This level of engagement personalisation – an audience size of 1 – has been a dream of marketers for years, but has been infeasible due to the scale of such an operation requiring massive staffing overheads. We are developing the tools to make it possible, without overwhelming our users.

Our mission is to provide businesses with a way to speak directly to each member of their target audience, instead of shouting into the void. At scale, it's difficult to figure out how to do that. We help our customers connect the dots and figure out what works.

Values: These values define what we consider to be the most important things. They guide our decision-making. We believe that channeling these values is the most promising way to achieve our mission.

  • Think big, start small, act fast. We believe in ambitious thinking paired with rapid, incremental progress. It's important to dream big and challenge the status quo, but real impact is created by starting small, validating quickly, and executing at speed.

  • Human first. We create human-centric solutions to solve human-centric problems- we're not just doing something for idea's sake. This means we prioritise focus on real user needs, value clear communication (both in how our product works and how we support those who use it), and enable our software to learn and adapt to how it's being used to directly support the humans behind the keyboard.

  • Measure twice, cut once. We make a point to talk to lots of people and gather diverse perspectives before acting. By seeking out input and deeply understanding the problem, we ensure we're solving the right thing in the right way. So when it's time to take action, we get it right the first time.

Operating Principles: These principles define how we work together. They are important for establishing our operating culture.

  • Weird is wonderful. Working at Two Dot means being part of a diverse and passionate team that not only accepts each other as we are, but celebrates the weirdness that each of us brings.

  • Find a way. We believe in finding a way to do the things that matter. We give agency to individuals and teams to find an approach that works. Even if that approach isn't perfet, ideas come from anywhere and can be built upon, regardless of title or seniority.

  • Question the 'why'. Ask the 'what if'. We never accept things just because "that's how they've always been done." Curiosity and a willingness to challenge assumptions lead to new discoveries. By asking "why" and considering "what if," we find better ways forward and unlock creative solutions.

  • Want to learn. Questioning why things are done a certain way only gets you so far. We want to learn, not solely because we need to learn to become better as individuals and as a company, but because it's exciting to discover new things!
